Who We Are

Hey, welcome to The Bark Brigade!

To put it simply, our number one focus is to build a better relationship between you and your dog. We do this through teaching and optimising effective communication, respect and routine.

We offer a range of Dog Training and Adventure Walks around North Auckland to Tauranga City, including One-on-One Training for reactive dogs.

Dog training

Positive reinforcement dog training for dogs and their families. Including leash manners, excessive barking, house rules.

adventure walks

Adventure pack walks on private rural land. Perfect for socialisation, discipline, energy levels and general behaviour.

one-on-one Training

One-on-one, in-home training with dogs and their owners. Includes training walks with reactive dogs.

What We Do

The Bark Brigade uses positive reinforcement to train your dog. Positive reinforcement training provides the correct combination of problem solving and praise/reward for your dog, striking the perfect balance of mental stimulation and communication. Through this, your dog will naturally learn the skills required to be a confident and well-behaved pet.

1-on-1 Training

Positive reinforcement dog training to build your dogs confidence. Understand how your dog thinks and learn to communicate effectively. Positive reinforcement training teaches your dog right from wrong and encourages them to make the right decisions. Leash reactivity, loose leash walking, obedience & socialisation.

Packwalk Adventures

Structured on and off leash adventure walks. Great for socialisation. Lots of training during adventures to ensure your dog is fulfilled and learning. Staying calm around other dogs and walking well on lead are two big factors of pack adventures, to ensure all dogs have a great time. 1-2 hours, pick up and drop off included. Note, your dog may need a bath after some of our off-road adventures.
